Black Porsche Cayman

I was pondering to do or not to do when one of my customer approach me to do up his new cayman. It was definitely going to be more challenging than detailing the normal car but i do not want to miss this car. Finally i made up my mind and fixed the appointment with him. These are some of the pictures on the initial assessment of the cayman paint conditions after washing and claying.

I reckoned that it should not be too tough after the initial paint checking. Finalised the steps and products and decided to use the AutoGlym High Definition Wax for the LSP to bring out the full vibrant of this black Cayman.

Surface preparation works - mild paint correction were performed on the superficial oxidations, buffer trails and micro marring on the car surface. Most sections on the car were corrected with ease. Some of the pictures taken on the finishing acheived after the paint correction.
LSP - The application of the AutoGlym HD wax was a breeze and the wax was then left to cure on the car while i was doing the interior vacuum.

After buffing out the HD wax, the results were very rewarding. These were the pictures taken, cheers.

It took me more than 3 hours to do up the exterior and the process is very encouraging as i learn couple of new things along the way and the quest to further refine the work process and quality continues. Thank you for viewing this detailing session.
